INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL PLOVDIV
The festival is the еldest chamber music festival in Europe.
It started in 1964 and year after year the forum established itself as an emblematic and sustainable cultural event. It takes place annually in the picturesque atmosphere of the architectural monuments in Old Plovdiv.
Established by renowned Bulgarian musicians Maestro Angel Hristov, Prof. Vladimir Avramov, Prof. Alexander Neinski, Dobrin Petkov, and Marko Mesholam, this emblematic and significant professional forum continues to thrive thanks to the support of numerous partners. For the 2026–2027 period, the festival has been awarded the prestigious European Festival Quality EFFE Label.
The 2026 edition will take place from 17 May to 14 June.
